Travel Journal - London 2024 - Day 4 - Highgate Cemetery & Starlight Express @ Wembley
Day 4's Agenda:
- Morning: Highgate Cemetery Tour, visiting the graves of a few famous folks.
- Evening: take the tube to Wembley, have dinner and see Starlight Express!
After another delicious breakfast at the hotel, I made my way via Tube on the Northern Line to Archway station, and then walked about 15 minutes to Highgate Cemetery.

A recent grave...apparently you can still buy grave plots in the cemetary...if you have the money.
The main reason for my visit....visiting Douglas Adams' grave....author of Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He played for my team, and I loved the Hitchiker's books, the BBC TV Series, and the feature film. I left a rainbow pen that I got in Hawaii for him, with a Life/The Universe/Everything/42 lapel pin attached to it.
In the evening, I took the tube to Wembley to attend Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "Starlight Express".
