Michael Green "One Yellow Rabbit" Yellow-light memorial

At tonight's Hitmen game, my friend Darby and I spoke about Michael Green's passing, and she mentioned that the City would be lit up yellow, to honour Michael and One Yellow Rabbit Theatre. After the game, in honor of Michael and OYR, I drove around the downtown to photograph the various "yellow light" memorials.  Even though I did not know Michael personally, I enjoyed many performances by One Yellow Rabbit Theatre.  The loss of creative genius leaves a large vacuum in Calgary's theatre community that will not soon be filled.
Spark Science Centre - if you look closely, you'll see a coyote that appeared right as I snapped the first shot.  It was a bit spooky as I thought "is that Michael's spirit walking by?"

The planters on Stephen Ave in front of the "Theatre Block" were all glowing yellow in honour of Michael.

The columns at Olympic Plaza were lit up yellow, and the rest was lit up Green.
