A Sad Day for the Star Trek Universe - Farewell Leonard
Today is a sad day as Leonard Nimoy passed away. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to meet him and have a tiny bit of fun with him at the 2010 Comic Expo.
Rest in peace Leonard. And thank you for your inspiration. IDIC

I visited Vulcan February 28, 2015 to pay my respects to Leonard. The town was still adjusting to the shock of Leonard's death. There were some flowers at his statue, I added a few candles, and with a few friends, we raised a glass to Mr. Nimoy. May your travels beyond the final frontier be forever fascinating!

Leonard and I scanning each other with tri-corders at the 2010 Comic Expo. What a fun guy he was! |
I was also lucky enough to attend his "Vulcan homecoming" in 2010 the day before the Expo. Here's a link to my photo album from that event.
I think I'll head down to Vulcan tomorrow to lay some flowers at Leonards' statue and have a moment of silence.Rest in peace Leonard. And thank you for your inspiration. IDIC
